MBP sells many kinds of light food including Nachos with cheese, pizza, hot dogs, grilled cheese, PB&J, candies, coffee, sodas, Sobe’s and energy drinks.

About Us

My Brother’s Place was the idea of the late Karl Hinshaw back in 1994. He thought it would be a good idea to have a place for Christians and others who wanted to enjoy the “night life” without the alcohol, bad language and smokiness. A place to enjoy live music and fellowship in a Christian atmosphere while enjoying good food and drink. We have the largest stage and professional lighting and sound system in southern Maryland. It just so happened that mainly teenagers came on Friday and adults on Saturday and so the format was set. We now have teen rock bands on Friday and Go-go bands on Saturday. We have a mix of Christian, rock, metal & go-go. The original MBP ended in 1997. In 1998 another group of people opened MBP Inc., MBP Inc is not supported by any church and is not a denominational ministry. We are a group of Christian men & women who use Bible based principles to run our business. We have a staff of godly people who are ready & equipped to handle any issues that our patrons might have and we also have Charles County Police Officers at most of our events to ensure patron safety and handle any patrons who cross the line. All of our staff are ready to share their faith with our patrons and to lead them into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our mission has always been to try to show & tell anyone who enters our club about the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe:

That everyone, of an accountable age, has sinned and needs saving (salvation) only available through Jesus.

That He died on a cross in our place to negate the punishment that WE deserved for our sin so we can enter Heaven when we die.

That He is God in human flesh and lived a sinless life while on earth.

That He came back from the dead through the power of God and ascended back into Heaven shortly thereafter.

That the Bible is the final authority in all matters for human life.

That there is one God revealed to us as the Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit.

That a simple change of mind, heart & attitude by accepting & following Jesus Christ will allow anyone to enter Heaven at the end of their life.

That by sincerely asking Jesus to forgive of all our sins, acknowledging the above statements and telling Him to take over every aspect of our lives, will save us from the punishment of Hell. DO IT NOW!
